Correcto-Spells
What are Correcto-Spells?
These questions are designed to evaluate the VOCABULARY knowledge of the speller. The definition of the word will be provided. All choices will be related to the spelling of the same word. There will be only ONE correctly spelled answer. Spellers should choose the correct answer.

What is the difficulty level for these kind of questions?
Moderate to Difficult.


Spyo-Spells (extra section for Grade 3 and Grade 4 only)
What are Spyo-Spells?
These questions are designed to evaluate the VOCABULARY knowledge of the speller and his/her ability to distinguish between the subtle nuances of the word defined and similar sounding or near-in-meaning alternatives. The definition will be crystal clear and there will be no ambiguity between given choices asto the correct word choice. Multiple choice answers for these questions will NOT be related to the spelling of the same word i.e. there will be different words spelled in different choices. Choices may be incorrectly OR correctly spelled. The CORRECT answer will be one of the words with no misspellings. Spellers should "spy to deduce" and choose the correct answer per definition provided. Please note that scores from this section will be taken into account for students from Grade3 & Grade4 only.
