My son competed in the 2008 MastiSpell Spelling Bee on Saturday, May 17. I just wanted to send a note to congratulate everyone involved in the event for an outstanding achievement. We thought the event was absolutely wonderful. It was extremely well-run and professional. The judges were outstanding and exceedingly fair. Everyone in our family had a great time. Others I spoke with at the event also seemed to be having a good time. The schedule was well coordinated, published, and maintained. The winners were clearly the best spellers. The facilities were excellent. Achievement was properly recognized and awarded at all grade levels. We were abundantly pleased and overjoyed to have the opportunity to participate in a spelling bee at his young age. My son is already excited about participating next year. You and your volunteers have done a tremendous contribution to the community by creating this event.

What a wonderful idea! I would absolutely love to help. I have been involved with spelling bees for the greater part of my 17 year teaching career. As a teacher and English department chair, I have become somewhat of an "expert" in organizing the different levels and "rounds" of a spelling bee.

Thanks for coming up with this great idea. Unfortunately, we cannot participate in a competition on a Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath. In future please let us know if the event can be scheduled on a different day of the week.

I could clearly see that Kid and Parents (including me and my daughter) were so much involved and it had same environment like watching a very close ball game between the mighty teams. Ishita loved the spelling bee competition. She was sad initially that she couldn't got to the stage and was trying to say the spellings sitting down. She is so inspired that she wants me to give her words for practice everyday so she can go on stage next year!!! Thanks and hope we can be more help next year! Great inspiration for little ones!
